Love One Another

How do you love others? Do you love them like Christ loves you? Most people love those who love them. Others will try to love like Christ to the best of their ability. But loving like Christ means loving to the best of His ability which means unconditionally.

Loving the seemingly unlovable, that despitefully use you, lie, cheat and seek to do you harm seems hard if not impossible at times. However, it’s not, when you see them through God’s love.

The word of God never said it would be easy or that people wouldn’t persecute you. Christ loved through the pain and betrayal of those he would willingly and ultimately die for. He endured the pain of hurtful words, beatings and crucifixion leading to his death and then rose with all power, authority and love which he then gave to us.

We as a result of His love, have that same love on the inside of us to do the same as we endure all things from others. So, love one another as Christ loves you, unconditionally, through His ability tapping into His love and not your own

The Greatest Commandment

Matthew 22:36-40

New King James Version (NKJV)

36 “Teacher, which is the great commandment in the law?”

37 Jesus said to him, “‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’[a] 38 This is the first and great commandment. 39 And the second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’[b] 40 On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets.”
